Step:
Wash the cilantro. Excluding the harder stems, roughly chop the rest into small pieces.
Cut the tomato into chunks. Since we will be using a blender later, it's okay if it's just roughly done.
Combine the Step 1 & 2 ingredients into a pot.
Cover with a lid and cook until the tomatoes have cooked. If you use high heat, it won't even take 10 minutes.
You could also use red chili peppers in place of green chili pepper. Cook it in a little bit of oil to enhance their flavor.
Add the green chili, garlic, cumin seeds, and salt to the cilantro and tomatoes, and then place in the blender to blend.
Absolutely use fresh garlic! The scent will be different. It will also taste good if you add a little bit of tamarind paste at this point!
