Note: Since we will be using fresh baby scallops, we need to weigh them since the sizes are all different. This time I used 152 g.
Finely slice the green onion. I used long and slightly large green onions this time.
Combine the ★ ingredients and mix with the scallops. Leave for 10 minutes.
Heat a non-stick frying pan with no oil. Add Step 3, including the liquid, and cook both sides on medium-low.
How to not burn the green onion Method 1) Place everything on frying pan safe aluminum foil, cover with a lid and steam.
Method 2) Only cook the scallops from Step 3 and add the green onion right before they are done cooking
When they have finished cooking, squeeze on some lemon, stir it in, and enjoy! Optionally season with black pepper.
