Step:

  1. *** everyone makes this different but this is my version.... :-)

  2. crumble the ramen noodles by hand. should look like chow mein noodles.

  3. melt butter in heavy skillet. turn to Med/high.

  4. fry noodles and nuts in the butter.. stir until noodles are gold. add a dash of pepper, garlic powder.

  5. put mix on paper towel. to drain.. I have added pecans.

  6. rinse cabbage very well in cold water.

  7. tear up Napa cabbage by hand (a metal knife cause it turns brown). only use the leaf parts.

  8. mix 1/2 the seasoning packet and pepper, oil, in jar and shake to mix.

  9. also put vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar together in jar. shake well to mix.

  10. put cranberries and noodle/ nuts topping on cabbage.

  11. then add vinaigrette.

  12. SERVE!!!


Ingredients

  1. 1 **** this recipe is a spin off of a ramin salad recipe from several years ago
  2. 1/4 stick butter
  3. 1 packages of chicken flavored ramen noodles
  4. 1/3 cup almonds slivered
  5. 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  6. 1/3 cup white vinegar
  7. 1/4 cup sugar
  8. 3 tbsp soy sauce
  9. 1/2 head of NAPA cabbage
  10. 1/2 envelope of seasoning mix from noodles
  11. 2 tbsp dried cranberries
  12. 1/4 cup oil
