Heat the apple cider, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon sticks to boiling in the saucepan over medium high heat.
Once the mixture is boiling, reduce heat just enough so mixture bubbles gently.
Cook uncovered 10 minutes.
Pour cider mixture through a strainer into a heatproof container to remove the cloves and cinnamon.
Or use a slotted spoon to remove cloves and cinnamon.
