in a blender or food processor puree 1/2 cup of the blueberries with the lemon juice.
combine blueberries, sugar, water and cinnamon stick in medium saucepan. bring to a full boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5-8 minutes.
add one cup blueberries and simmer for An additional 3 minutes. ( u can add more sugar here if needed)
remove from heat and discard cinnamon stick.
serve warm over pancakes
