Soak matzo in 1 cup cold water for about 5 minutes.
Place soaked matzo, oil, parsley flakes, egg, and matzo meal in a small bowl.
Mix thoroughly to combine.
Chill for at least 1 hour.
Wet hands and roll matzo into bite-sized balls.
Meanwhile bring 4 quarts water to a full rolling boil in a large saucepan over high heat.
Drop balls into water and cook for about 20 minutes.
Serve 1 or more matzo balls over dry dog food.
*A small amount of low sodium chicken broth can be added as well for more flavor.*
