chop up veggies into large chuncks. You do not need to peel potato..
put spices and bay leaf in 6 cups of water.
put all veggies in cheese cloth ... can purchase at Walmart in the canning section. I bought mine at Rural King... Tie cheese cloth into bundle with cooking twine.
Bring to a hard boil for about 5 minutes. Turn down to med to med low. allow to cook for 30 minutes. Trying to get the potato done!!!
Take out the cheese cloth bundle with all the veggies in it and discard.
You now have veggie broth
