Dissolve sugar in the milk in a small pot by gently heating it on stove.
Pour mixture into a heatproof bowl that has high sides.
Heat in microwave oven in two minute intervals for about thirty minutes,Every two minutes stir very carefully as it will be very hot and bubble a lot.
Keep checking throughout heating periods that it not over boils.
Cook until it reaches the colour and thickness you want.
I serve this with icecream and puddings or use it in baking.
You can also eat it on its own.
Leave the extra sugar out if you dont want it to sweet.If not using sugar add milk straight into heatproof dish and put into microwave.
