Put the water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Let it simmer over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Pour in the coffee and stir well to combine.
Transfer into a container and let it cool. Freeze for 20 minutes, or until set. Stir with a fork to break up the ice crystals. Return to the freezer and repeat the process again.
Spoon into serving glasses and topped with whipped cream. Serve, share & enjoy.
