In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium low heat until very hot but not boiling.
Gradually add the white chocolate to the hot milk, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Stir in the vanilla.
Remove from the heat.
At this time you can froth it with a steamer or immersion blender if desired.
Pour into a mug and place the orange slice on the mug for garnish ( if desired ).
